Paul S. Padda, has been named the ''Official Legal Advisor' of the annual Indie Music Fest. Mr. Padda will provide legal services including contract review, and consultation about intellectual properties, endorsements and more, for the participating artists. “Most indie artists and bands lack legal representation, period! Some indie artists and bands do have legal representation but unfortunately they lack competency and experience." Black Mountain is honored that Paul S. Padda, Esq. has agreed to accept appointment as the ‘Official Legal Advisor’ of the annual Indie Music Fest.

Paul's impressive legal career includes serving as a civil litigator and former federal prosecutor. Mr. Padda began his career in 1994 with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. litigating complex civil cases in both federal trial and appellate courts. He later was selected to serve as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.) where he handled a wide array of civil matters in federal court on behalf of the United States of America. In 2004 Mr. Padda moved to Las Vegas to serve as an Assistant United States Attorney where he litigated both civil and criminal cases. Paul also serves as a legal adviser to Southern Nevada Children First, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless youth.
