Malus Records, Inc. is an independent record label, incorporated in the State of Nevada in 2005, and formed with the desire and determination to discover and develop recording artists and then market and promote their music across a wide array of formats and platforms.
Malus Records chose Las Vegas as “undiscovered territory,” teeming with unsigned indie artists, as well as writers and musicians, just waiting to be discovered. To this end, Malus Records is in the process of developing a Music Entertainment Portal designed to assist independent artists, writers and musicians achieve long-term creative and financial success.
This Portal is comprised of artist management (www.malusrecords.com), an on-line music store and merchandising (www.malusrecords.net), fan site/club and professional marketing program (www.clubmalus.com), and digital distribution services (www.malusdigital.com). Also in the development stages is an on-line music magazine (www.malusmagazine.com), a platform to produce and sell videos (www.malusproductions.com), and concert and tour promotions (www.malusentertainment.com).
Malus Records can and will provide the indie artist, writer and musician with the type of full service one would expect from a major label, bringing music & entertainment from Hollywood to Las Vegas. We look forward to partnering with Black Mountain Productions as a sponsored partner and vendor, at the 2012 Indie Music Festival, to help guide the local independent artists through “the trenches,” providing the direction needed to succeed in the music industry.
