Whole Kids Foundation is charitable organization that will provide children with access to healthy food choices through partnerships with schools, educators and organizations. By supporting schools and inspiring families, the Foundation aims to help children reach optimal health through the strength of a healthy body fueled by nutritious food choices.
Whole Kids Foundation:
- Raises awareness and funds, and encourages schools to experience the difference a salad bar can make in increasing children's consumption of fruits and vegetables.
- Offers a Whole Kids Foundation School Garden Grant program that supports the implementation or expansion of school gardening programs.
- Leads a pilot program of nutrition and cooking education for teachers with the goal of improving their nutrition, health and wellness.
